I went to the ER and Rick went first while I just followed him. A few minutes later, we both arrived at our destination.
"Good morning, Nurse Collins and Nurse Vasques. Right now, you two are in charge of handling the patients here in the emergency room because we are short of nurses. You probably know that." Doctor Richards said to the two of us, Rick.
"Yes, Doctor. I am aware of that." Rick answered. Hint that I also know what he means. But there is doubt in my feelings and there is also the joy that I feel because Rick and I will be together.
