I opened my eyes as i heard the door open .I clutched the bed sheet close to me , i heard the steps coming close as my eyes shut .It was better to be asleep rather than to see his face .

"Wake up my love "

My love ...

That word ...

It was my fantasy to fall in love ..with a amazing man ..

To receive roses ...gifts ....and to be loved .

But he destroyed it .

"Babygirl ...wake up " his voice made me clutch the sheets tight to my chest

He didn't take my virginity. ....but i was left we red marks ..

Not only with hickies but also with bruises.

The tears were now dried up .

I opened my eyes to be meet with the most terrific man ever .

He smiled ...

"You'er so beautiful. ...and with my mark ...no man can ever lay his eyes on you " he stated stroking my cheeks with his hands .

His touch made me flinch ...yet i felt pleasure when he kissed me .I want to get out ...i want to run away ..But i can't  .

"No no ...please. .."

"My Ava ...remember. ..if you try to run away ...i'll be bad .. if you don't want your father in danger. ...do as i say baby "

With that he slipped my skirt off digging his fingers in my skin .

I felt tears run through my cheeks .

He picked me up settling me on his lap .

I squirmed but his hold got more tight .

Once i stopped he kissed my neck .Sucked all over the mark he first made .I couldn't hold my moan .I was angry at myself  .

I was weak at my knees for the man to threatened to kill my father 

Who destroyed my hopes for having a boyfriend.

"I have to leave you home sweetheart  ....get dress .."

He stood up and help me up .Holding the skirt to my legs he nudged me to lift my leg up .

After sliding the skirt up to my wait he slided the top on my upper body .

His hands came to my cheek and his lips met my other cheek .

"Go freshen up baby ...will leave then"He said pinching my cheeks .

I never wanted this .

So why ??

I won't let him have me ...

I have to stand up for myself ...once in my life .

After i was done washing myself he took my hand and lead me outside

I saw two maids cleaning the entrance.

He pulled me towards the car and buckled me up .

I never spoke a word .

"Ava " he called .

But i was too tired to even answer him .

"AVA !!!"  I jumped and looked at him .

"Y-yes ?" i asked .

"I don't want you wearing any kind of shorts clothes , you understood? ?"

What ? No way ?

"But i don't wear shorts anymore ...you already told me not to "

" it applies to what you are wearing as well .....I don't want any man looking at what's mine ."

"You don't own me !!" I snapped

I never knew where that came from .

But i regreted it the moment the car stopped .

"Good girl ....i do own you Ava ...keep that in your mind ...don't test my patience "I nodded .I hate this . 

The rest of the ride was silent .When I was finally home ..i felt free ..free from him .He pulled me to the front door .

My eyes windend as he rung the door bell .

What is he doing? 

Shouldn't he be going already? 

The door opened revealing my father His eyes went wide . 

"Oh Ava dear ..where were you ? " Before i could speak Roman spoke up .

"She was lost ...so i helped her .." Dad looked at him ..

He seemed in a deep thought before his eyes went wide and his face looked terrified.

"S-sir ...t- thank you ..how ..how may I repay you ..." Dad said with fear .

Why was he in fear ?

Did he knew him ?

Who was Roman ?

"No .....and I might add ..take care of her ...." he looked at me ...

His gazed at dad with deadliest glared he walked away .

"Do you know him dad ?" I asked stepping inside .

"Ava ...did he do something to you ..are you ok sweet pea ?"

No ...help me please.

"Y-ya ..i am fine .but why were talking to him like that " His eyes looked me in sadness .

"Did he do anything to you Ava " he asked again .

"H-He ...we..have meet before ..he dropped me home once "

I looked at dad to see him horrified.

"Ava ...he is not a good man .."

"Stay away from him " I can't. That's it .I am not acting like this again .

"Dad "i called .

He turned around. "He ...he ...won't leave me alone will he ?"Silence greeted me .I looked up .

"We have to leave. ...NOW "

He said walking upstairs.

That's it .I am going ..i won't have to deal with him anymore .

But ....was he that dangerous. ..? Why did dad act like that ?

Did they have a connection? I pack my bag with all these questions in my mind .I was moving out again ..but this time ...i was relieved I won't see him again

Little did I know ....bad things were just about to start . 

I opened my eyes and saw my dad still driving. The only sound could be heard was of the car "How long will it take ?" I ask .

"Mostly 3 hours. ..not more dear " he replied. I had a bad feeling about running away but nothing bad has happened yet

That means he doesn't know we were out of the city ..Thank God for that .

As soon as we left the house my dad decided to go to  the old one ...its only been 2 hours.

I sigh .I needed some thing in my stomach.

"Can we stop somewhere. ...i am hungry " i said .He sigh

"Alright ...i am too ...let see if we can find a restaurant " After sometime we came near one .He parked the car and we made our way in the small restaurant .

It was a simple one ...hardly any people there .

The only people i could see was a old lady at the corner and two waiters .We sat near the window ready to order ."Hello ...what would you like to have ?" The waiter asked ."I'll have pasta ..with herbs " Dad said .

The waiter looks at me ..

"Burger with French fries. ...and can you add some salad in it ?" He nodded and wrote it down "Anything else ?"

"Water " my dad said .He nodded and walked away .

"How do you know him dad ?" I asked .

My question seemed sudden as he went stiff .

"When we came here .....the first day of my job ....it was good ...until this man walks in ...threatened my boss .I asked who was he to one of my colleagues. they said he was a feared man .he is a mafia leader ,ran many illegal businesses , also ran many companies he would buy shares and eventually make the manager fall in his games  when people took money from him he would add interest and double it  there are many ways he earned money ...illegal , legal. ....kill "

I gasped

"Is ...is ...he ..killed people ?" I asked Dad nodded

"Once you get involved with these people ...you can't run away .." Tears swelled up in my eyes ..but i blinked them away ."He even owns the school you are in "

"What ?" It wasn't a question. .....i somehow already knew it that's why is saw him on the school grounds. "I don't understand as to why did he show interest in you " I looked down ..

"Here's your meal ...enjoy " the waitress said keeping our plates with water .

I smiled and she smiled back ."Thank you " my dad muttered .We dig in our food .

I was half way done eating mine when dad spoke .

"Did he touch you in anyway ?" I looked up with the tomato still on my fork .

Yes ...He did

"No ...he didn't " i reply. I saw dad sigh in relief.

I heard the door of the restaurant open .It was visible to me ....i noticed two men dressed in all black with suits.I have a bad feeling about this .

No no ...he wouldn't know where we were ...besides. ..he doesn't even know we left yet .

Dad was done with his food and was busy in his phone ...I was having the last bite of my salad ...I felt someone's stare on me I look at my right ..

The two men were looking straight at me

I whipped my head to the plate . This was a bad idea , stopping here was a bad idea 

"What are you two doing here " i heard the waitress ask them ."None of your concern " one of the man said ."Whatever he does IS my concern. ...now tell why the hell are you here ?"

Did she know them ? Were they ...send by Roman ? No no ..it can't be .

I took some water in my mouth. ..my eyes drifted to the waitress walking ..with her eyes on me .

I frowned. ..She suddenly looked away .

"Are you done ?" Dad asked .

"Huh ...um ya .." he nodded .He was about to called for the waiter when we both jumped hearing the tray being banged on our tabled My dad and i looked up to see the waitress. She slowly picked up our glasses .

"Are you two running away from someone ?" I almost chocked on my spit .

Dad was looking at her wide eyed .

"Answer me " she whispered still picking up our plates and clearing the mess "Y-yes " i answered

"Out ...now ...they are Roman's men ...you have to go quickly " Dad kept some money on the table as we practical ran out of the restaurant in the car .

He speeds up to the road .I was so fazed by all this ...i never knew we were now a mile ahead of the restaurant .The road was empty ..

When i was finally feeling safe again ...suddenly the brakes were applied as me and my dad both were pushed forward due to the force .

Thank god the seat belts were on .

I looked at dad to see if he was all right ...he was ..but his eyes were trained ahead in horro .My eyes slowly went ahead ...There was a car...right ahead of us ..blocking our way .Dad tried to reverse the car but ..there was another one behind us .

Oh no ...No.

"Stay here ....sweet pea it's alright. .i promise i'll keep you safe " dad said ...

I was about to stop him but he was already out .

"Dad!!!" I called out but he shuts the door .Two men step out of the car .

My eyes went wide ..my breathing increase as i saw that thing ...A gun ..They both were having guns ..They were pointing it at my dad

It happened so fast .The bullet going out ..

Me running out of the car ..Screaming to my lungs .But dad didn't get hurt . It was a warning shot .Dad hugged me tight.....as i sobbed .

He was pulled away from me as i screamed to let him go .

My cries were heard by all of them but me .The man held a gun of dad's head .

"NOOOOO ...PLEASE PLEASE. ...LET HIM GO !!"

I cried ...begged for them to leave him .

I kept on repeating 'please ' until a cloth was placed on my mouth .

I struggled. ...struggled till my body almost gave up .I tried to hold my breathing but couldn't. ..I finally took it in .Sliding down my body hits the ground.

"That's right baby breath " My eyes went wide .It was him .He was there ...watching us from the beginning. He was with us ....all the way out .

"Breath babygirl ...everything is gonna be fine ...i love you so much "

Tears ran down my cheeks and my moments  finally gave in .

I felt kisses on my neck before i blacked out 

DAD

My eyes opened ...they sting.My throat was dry as hell .I sat up and looked around.

I was in a big white room with grey curtains.

My eyes windend as i recollected the events of last night .

I began to panic. ..My dad ...those men .

Roman .

My exhausted body couldn't move ..

Pain filled my head as well as my heart

I lost my mom ...I lost my dad ..

I'll lose myself .
