Several hours later, Teo returned to the office with the woman who had been leaving notes. She appeared to be no more than thirty-five years old, with fear evident in her eyes. "You know why I called you, right?" "Sir, I don't know anything," she denied. "Are you sure?" I placed the letter on the table. Isabella stood beside me, her hand on my shoulder, seemingly calming me down, especially since my tone towards the woman had changed. I just wanted to understand why that woman had agreed to harm us. "What is your name?" Isabella asked calmly. Although we had her name in the documents, she asked anyway, perhaps to alleviate some of the woman's fear. "My name is Mercedes, ma'am," the woman replied. "I see, Mercedes. But you're lying, that's not your name, right?" Isabella countered.
