The following day, I arrived early at work as usual. Dad would pick me up later, and we would head to the party together. I finished my day and got dressed in a long-sleeved black dress, fitting tightly to my body, with a pronounced neckline that almost reached my navel. I tied my hair up in a simple low bun and applied eye makeup that accentuated my eyes without being too flashy. I put on red lipstick. As I was finishing up, Joseph and Michelle arrived.
