Lora had contacted me about spending time here after I had invited Drax to spend a little time here a few weeks ago, Lora was excited when they arrived yesterday. It won't work on Ryker but Cam will be a goner if we don't do something so I decided to call the other Supremes, they would know what to do. I linked their driver and he gave me a heads up on where they were heading and I opened a portal to meet them up the mountains at the ancient temple of the gods. I walked in seeing them enjoying the scenery and the statues and hated to deliver the news.
I didn't expect Drax to react the way he did, but after being hurt and having trust issues when he first returned, I can understand why. Drax teleported with Ryker as Lora and I touched him for the ride and ended up in my conference room, Drax was furious. I decided to tell him everything explaining how it was not Ryker's fault and then the other Supremes appeared with Lily, I had Linked Levi to look into it ASAP. Drax's submission aura was from hurt and I understood until he released us, he looked heartbroken looking at Ryker and Lora was in the bathroom where Lily went to comfort her. I haven't felt an aura like that in a long time, I knew they were getting stronger the more Ravena progressed to keep us in line, I wouldn't want to cross the Supremes. They were our superiors first and friends after, in some cases, family but we respected and trusted each other, although Roman betrayed us, he was a psycho.

The next day, Drax seemed to have worked out things with his mates, I was excited and had prepared dinner for them at the Palace. Ty decided to join us after his mate went into heat and her sister helped her out so they could be here for this occasion, I was going to invite Holly as my plus one but Ty would have killed me although I am not mated to his daughter yet. We all sat to eat and had some casual conversation to break the ice, I was glad to see Ty finally giving Sheila a chance at happiness. Something felt off and I looked at Levi, Jared felt it too, Mendai wasn't here tonight, he was out on business and wouldn't be back until next week. I saw Ryker tense up, Lissa excused herself to the bathroom and before I could say anything, I saw from the corner of my eye, a grenade being thrown and I saw black.

I was watching Lissa get up to go the bathroom when there was a loud bang, I woke up to find out that I was dead and Ty brought me back. Lissa was also killed along with my brothers and eventually, we would have to re-mark each other, I went over to the hospital wing to check on the Supreme mates who were sleeping but fully healed. Ty along with Drax was angry and I could feel the aura before Aidan linked us so we could find out what happened here. Levi was already working with security to find any footage of the culprit or culprits. We have established this wasn't an outside job, one of our own betrayed us and we need to find them and find out why. Lissa went to check on our son and daughter to make sure they were okay and she will let me know, if anything happens to my kids, I swear, I will burn the Kingdom down to find out who betrayed us.
Lissa's son is with Bradley but Levi and I adopted him, he is our son, while discussing everything, the detectives in our territory were gathering evidence answering to Levi. Lissa eventually texted me and let me know she and the kids were safe and she went over to my mother's quarters and stayed there until I was free to be with her. My mother is a warrior, so I know she is in good hands, Ty said, "This might either be Esmerelda or the Siren, either way, they are both dying." Aidan went over what we had found out looking at the footage and the siren was the culprit, we didn't see her face but she was looking for the sample Toffe dragged out of Ryker. She had broken into the lab when we were all out and Levi was furious and wanted to know where was the lab tech and the guard for that area, we needed answers.
I was killed along with my mate and brothers and if not for the Supremes, our Kingdom would be in chaos as my mother would have taken the throne or my cousin Brock would have been King. However, I think Emile changed succession, if Zack had still refused the throne, Mendai would be King. Levi sent for the lab technician while I was going over more footage to see if we missed anything, the bombs were thrown from two locations, and looking at the blast and how huge it was, we were all goners. Emile received a link that the Lab Technician was dead and we headed out to the area. The body had the eyes missing and his skin looked like scales, Aidan called King Squashi on his phone asking him if there were other ways in which the sirens kill because we needed to know immediately. King Squashi was staying at one of our resorts with his new bride, she was young but the sirens aged differently.

I felt the tears on my cheeks the loss was still there in my heart, I don't know how long Mom stayed with me but I felt whole again minutes later, I saw her eyes gloss over and she looked at me and said, "He is alive, sweety, it will be okay." I felt relieved, I asked, "Can I go and see him, please?" She told me, "Get dressed," I haven't seen Emile in years, only in pictures and I remember once when I was little, he dropped off a gift for me. I didn't know he was my mate then until recently.
Mom took me to Elvira, it was beautiful, people were running around and part of the building was burnt, you could smell the scent of death. I saw my father who hugged me and said, "He is okay, I am sorry you felt that," I loved my dad so much and he walked me over to Emile who was in a room talking with Uncle Drax and Ryker. He looked at me and smiled before continuing his conversation, he walked over to me, and we left to talk privately. He looked at me awkwardly, staying a few feet away, and said, "I have no plans of meeting you until you are twenty-five." I said, "I have no plans of meeting an old guy who I am mated to," I could see I shocked him but he was hot, the girls in my class would like him. He linked me with a stern voice, "In a few years we will revisit this conversation, young lady," I think I pissed him off but he was old and I didn't care, plus, I had a boy at school I liked anyway, and walked off to find my Mom.
