Jared had been out on three dates with Lissa, and I was going insane, I knew he wanted to ease how to tell her about me, but I couldn't wait anymore and decided to take matters into my own hands. I dropped my daughter off at school and decided to head over to the library, Jared was in a meeting, so this would be my time to introduce myself, hopefully, I won't scare her. I knew about her baby, but I didn't care, I have a daughter, so, we can co-parent without the drama of it all, and I am pretty sure I would love her son. I see how he has taken a liking to Jared since he saw Jared often and knows him, he might call him dad soon. I smiled because it was harmless, and I was excited to have a mate, I parked and walked inside the building, our staff slightly bowed and Arlene, my assistant, smiled, knowing Lissa was our mate.
We could never hide anything from her, because why would Jared need to act like a damn employee if not to get close to our little mate. I smiled when I saw her, she was on the computer, I felt a slight pull to her, but she did not acknowledge I was there, I leaned on the counter and said, "Hey." She said, "Hey baby," without looking up at me and then paused, she realized the difference in voices, and said, "Jared, no, you are not Jared." I smiled and said, "Nope, I am his twin brother, Levi, I was in the neighborhood and dropped in to see him and meet you." She smiled and said, "I thought his family doesn't keep in contact with him," I said, "They don't, but I do," she put a strain of hair behind her ear and smiled. She got up and shook my hand, it was warm, I said, "Nice to meet you, Lissa," she said, "He told you about me!"
I said, "Of course he did, he likes you more than just a friend and I can see why he is smitten with you," she held down her head not wanting to make eye contact. I said, "Don't hide those beautiful eyes," she cleared her throat and said, "He is not in yet, but you can wait around if you like." I said, "I will wait here with you if you don't mind," she smiled and said, "Sure, I guess," she couldn't help but look at me and I knew it was the bond. I smiled and said, "Checking me out, little witch, what would your boyfriend say?" She got nervous, and I smiled saying, "Relax, I was just playing with you, take a break, let's talk," she signaled to Arlene, who smiled and nodded. We walked into the office, and she said, "Our boss will be back soon," I backed her up to the wall smelling her perfume, it smelt amazing on her body.
Her heart rate picked up, and she said, "You guys are so identical," I backed off and said, "Yes, we are, that's why we have different markings and tattoos and I have a streak in my hair, so everyone can tell the difference." Honestly, it's just our auras that everyone tells the difference, but we are hiding it from our little mate here, we want her to be comfortable with us before revealing the truth. I saw the hickey on her neck and said, "I can get pest control for the pests in your apartment," she shyly smiled trying to hide it, I could see she was falling in love with Jared, the bond was working, and now, I just need to get on board, so we can mark our mate. We had to mark her together for our unique mark that would be on her neck, Jared linked me, he was outside, so I got off the desk and said, "I like you for Jared," she smiled, saying, "I like him too, a lot."
I leaned in to kiss her cheek, she turned quickly, and we kissed on the lips, I increased the kiss by pulling her to my chest, and it felt like fireworks going off. I don't know what came over me, there was this pull towards them, I looked at Jared staring at me and his brother sat back on the desk. I didn't know what to say or explain about making out with his brother, I had started to build something with Jared, he loved my son and took care of him like his own. My son had warmed up to him, almost calling him 'Dad' last night, I may have ruined things with him because I let his brother rope me into betraying him, but it felt so right. I see now why he doesn't speak to his family, why would his brother lie to me? Jared walked towards me and looked into my eyes, I didn't know what to say, he leaned in and kissed my lips, and I was shocked. He said, "I see you have met my brother, I didn't know you were kinky like that," I was petrified, and he said, "Relax Lissa, I need to tell you something, but go out with me tonight, and we can talk about what happened here."
I was shocked, and he pulled me into a hug, calming me down, I held him so tightly, I didn't want to lose him after losing Bradley, he was my rock. Jared held my hand and told Levi, "You should join us as well at the Palace," I asked, "What Palace?" Levi smiled and said, "You have a lot to learn, little witch," walk toward Jared, patted his back, and said, "I will be there." I watched him walk out, looked at my boyfriend, and asked, "Why the Palace?" He said, "There is a lovely restaurant on the property and let's say, I know the Royal Family, I told you that when we met, remember?" I nodded and said, "About what you saw, I am sorry, I didn't know....," he cut me off with a kiss and said, "It was hot," shocking me, was my man a freak? This nerd surprises me every day, but I won't sleep with his brother for kicks.

Dinner Date
I waited for Jared to pick me up, he told me to take Booker with us, who was already in the car seat carrier, he was asleep when I heard the keys at the door. Jared had a key to the apartment after we made it official on our last date, he was practically sleeping there almost every day, and our s*x life was amazing. He said, "I love you too," before holding my hand and leading me out of the apartment, I felt light sparks, and I smiled as my stomach was in knots just being with him. We headed out to his car and he strapped our son in, I was shocked at the way my mind was thinking of Booker as his son, and he said, "Our son is good now." I looked at him shocked, it was like he was reading my mind, he opened the door for me and I got in, we drove down the highway heading to the Palace. I asked, "How close are you to King Emile and his brothers, the famous four?" He smiled and said, "The famous four, is that what everyone calls us?" I realized he had misspoken, and I smiled saying, "You didn't answer the question," he turned the music down some more, looked at me, and said, "Pretty close, you will meet them, don't worry," I said, "Meet them, I am not dressed for the occasion," he said, "You look fine but let's just get through dinner," he held my hand as he drove.
The sparks reminded me of my mate, and it dawned on me, what if Jared was my second chance mate?" I smiled, hoping it was true because I was madly in love with him, we pulled up to the Palace, and it was beautiful, there were luxury cars in the big garage, and few had the family crest of the King. He took my son in his hand as the servants came out to greet us and bowed, it was subtle, but I blew it off as I got a strange feeling about that. I saw a woman run over to Jared as we walked down the hall, I grabbed his arm, staking my claim, and she said, "Oh my god, is that, Booker?" Taking my son out of Jared's arms, he said, "This is my sister, Attia," I said, "Attia, as in, Princess Attia!" My heart rate sped up as she nodded to confirm it, he said, "Walk with me, I have something to show you," as she ran off with my son yelling, "Mom, he is so cute."
He said, "Don't worry about Booker, he is in good hands," I started to think about what little I knew and researched about the King and his brothers, "It couldn't be," I thought. Jared took me into a room where there were paintings of the Royal Family and I saw a portrait of King Emile. I walked further and saw him and his twin brother's portrait, and I froze. I didn't want to believe it when I first thought that he had misspoken and then again when I met his sister, Princess Attia, "Me, with a Prince," I thought, and I was in denial until I realized I wasn't wrong in my thoughts about this situation. I said, "Oh my god, you are, Prince Jared," Levi said, "I am the better-looking twin," I turned around to face him in shock to see him leaning on a wall dress for dinner before Beta Drax, Prince Mendai and King Emile walked in, and then I saw black.
