It's been months and I look at my son in his crib, his name is Booker and I promise to take care of him, everyone is on alert for Sheila after what Bradley said before his dying breath. He had told me he used to work at the Palace, so he had met King Emile before, and I tried to get any information possible to use it in the future. After the movie was over, and I put my son back to sleep, I walked over to Jared and sat on his lap, he looked at me surprised and I removed his glasses. I said, "I could heal your eyesight," he said, "My sight is fine, I used them to hide the glare from the TV.....," I shut him up with a kiss. I knew I was forward, but I needed to be touched, I always had this weird attraction to him, but sweet, he kissed me back before stopping me and said, "We shouldn't do this." I said, "It was fine," but he didn't want to change the relationship and I assured him that it wouldn't before I took his shirt off. He had a symbol on his chest, but I ignored it, he got up, and I wrapped my legs around him as he walked over to the bedroom and laid me on the bed.

I was assigned to the newbie as we knew who she was and informed Drax, he said, "Let her be for the time being, but keep a close eye on her as she poses no threat yet, as she was pregnant with Bradley's child." We always know who enters our borders, it was a safety measure since King Aidan was killed years ago before returning. She thought she could sneak into the Kingdom without us knowing. I smiled at the thought, she was so sneaky in the way she looked for an apartment and then a job before having her son. I honestly didn't want to sleep with her because it would compromise everything, but she is my mate and my brother knows, that's the only reason Aidan has not passed the death penalty on her. I hope to keep her from getting killed, my Royal Mark binds her powers until we figure out how deep she is in with everything or unless she is no threat.

If she is a threat, I would have no choice but to execute her, the only problem is, I gave into the bond and if I had to kill her, I would be out for a few days from the pain. My brother knows the bond will grow between us, but hope I can turn her life around, hopefully with her powers bound, her Elvin side will shine through more. I went over to the Palace, and they bowed as I walked through the door, I always gave feedback when I returned to the Palace and had to notify Levi when I found her. Unfortunately, she is also Levi's mate, we are sharing a mate, which is another reason, she is still alive. Levi and I are hoping to get her to see reason, and embrace this side of her, but her mind was poisoned by Sheila and Bradley, I believe she is a good person at heart. Levi will also have to explain about this daughter with Princess Polly when or if it comes to that.

Emile promised Drax she would remain on house arrest for now, I placed a magic spell on her so that we would know where she was at all times. The glasses I wear help hide my actual eye color, which is unique to royalty and keeps our bond from connecting for now but it would seem I need contacts, it felt weird having s*x with the glasses on. I hated that she had a kid with the traitor, Bradley, but the baby is innocent, and hopefully, her anger will go away. After waiting for a mate for so long, it will be hard to kill her in the end, and that is why I decided to be her good friend/workmate and try to influence her to change, the only problem is, how do I explain Levi to her when the time is right? Hopefully, she sees the error of her ways and changes, we are also looking to find out who her parents were. She has a mark on her shoulder and I have a pretty good idea whose family she is from, "f**k," this will complicate things.

I needed to speak with my brothers and confront them, they listened attentively to the situation I was now in and promised to help. The next day, Emile looked at me and said, "Something is blocking your bond, you should tell her the truth, maybe, it will change her anger towards everyone about her poisonous dead ex." Levi walked in before I could say anything and said, "I want to meet our mate, Jared, tell her." I smiled and said, "In time, we are getting close, so I will have to tell her, but give me time, Levi, I promise to tell her." Levi said, "You started sleeping with her, you know the bond will start to pull me in to complete our triad," I sighed because he was right, I came up with a plan that we agreed upon, and I left to meet her at our library. I own the place, but she doesn't know, and my staff are sworn to secrecy not to tell her anything, I saw her beautiful smile as I walked past her, our bond was growing, but she didn't recognize it yet, I knew I had my work cut out for me.
