Hunter’s POV
I was consoling Cami in the living room and about to lean in to kiss her when my mom and Avery’s mom come sauntering in with a couple Omega’s behind them.
“Cami! Is everything okay sweetheart?” My mom asks and takes Cami’s hand gently.
“Yeah. It’s just been a very long day. I’m really tired.” She nods her head slowly.
“How about I get some tea for you and you can just relax for a bit? Don’t worry about trying to meet everyone and keep up the facade tonight!” She winks and Cami smiles up at her.
“Tea would be lovely, thank you.”
My mom asks one of the Omega’s to make her tea.
“What are some of your favorite foods, hon?”
“What?” Cami asks, looking really confused.
“You’re very important sweetheart…” my mom flicks her eyes to me as if trying not to use the word ‘Luna’.
