Hunter’s POV
I’m in my office with Avery and Jonathon when I get a mind-link from one of the border guards.
THERE’S VAMPIRES EVERYWHERE! WE NEED BACKUP!
We’re coming! Just hold on!
“HOLY f**k!” I yell out loud and Avery and Jonathon jump.
“What’s going on?!” Jonathon shouts.
“There’s vampires at the territory border! Sound the emergency alarm! NOW!”
Avery uses his wolf speed and sounds the alarm for the entire territory. It will alert all the women who aren’t trained fighters, children and seniors to go into their bunkers until they hear the safe alert sound. All three of us use our wolf speed to run out of the pack house. As soon as we’re out of the front door, we all shift into our wolves. Ezra leads and Jonathon’s wolf, Kane, and Avery’s wolf, Elijah, follow closely behind me.
