“So, y’all just hang out now, like nothing ever happened?”
As soon as I pull my bedroom door shut behind me, Ella, hands on her hips, shakes her head at me.
“Isn’t that awkward? I feel awkward about it, and I wasn’t even involved in that whole fiasco with you three.”
She throws her hands up in the air dramatically.
“Give it a rest, Ella.” I glance back at the door, feeling regretful to be leaving Tess, before making my way down the hall while pulling my shirt over my head.
She follows close behind me.
“I bet Ava isn’t hanging out with Alpha Caleb and Lily on her own all the time, if at all.”
“Actually, she does. A lot. Lily is her twin sister, remember?”
