Ali’s POV
Ralph lifts his eyebrow questioningly at me and I bite my lower lip.
It probably should have been me to be the one to tell him my real name…
I glance at Ella, who grimaces apologetically and tip toes backwards from the room.
Ralph speaks after the door closes behind her.
“Tess?”
“Or should I say…Ali?”
He steps back and I sigh, tucking my damp hair behind my ear, bracing myself for the anger he must be feeling at me at the moment.
It does sound nice when he says my real name though.
“Yes, my name is Ali. I should have told you, and I would have, but I didn’t want it to get out that I was ever here. Alpha Kace would happily kill anyone that I came across, just to cover his tracks. I thought it would be safer to use an alias, just to be safe.”
I give him an apologetic look
