As soon as I finished speaking I felt a strong hand on my forearm that forcefully turned me towards a very pissed off Lieutenant.
"What the f**k was that?" - he hissed through his teeth with anger that made his yellow eyes glow a few shades darker.
"You should be thanking me, Lieutenant. I'm making sure that only the strongest one is in charge here, as a Superior of those lands you should be glad of that outcome." - I replied calmly, doing my best to breathe through my mouth as his scent was just too much from this proximity.
"I haven't allowed you to give that title away."
"Allow me?! So you were just telling me what I wanted to hear at the Council Meeting, then?" - I asked challengingly and his grip loosened up a little.
