The scene could’ve gone on for some time, but the tension broke by the tinkle of a small bell. “What’s that?” Helena asked. “Sigmund telling us we have guests, we need to join him in the salon.” Helena understood Deirdre wanted to say more but chose not to. “Annie, we need to head upstairs.
