Trapped - The Fated Connection

I am trapped in a world where I was not born, but still, the moment I took my first breath and my heartbeat for the first time, it laid its claim on me... Both worlds are connected...but how, is still a mystery. They are similar in many ways... The same sun rises here and wraps this realm in its sunshine, The same moon shines here every night, reminding me about the person I loved and left behind... but the people who are living here, are just a little different, they are not humans... Alfheim is a magical world, where half of the population is either witches or warlocks. There are rare creatures like fairies, goblins, and shifters too. And then there are unlucky people like me...Half- humans, who were taken from the human world. Every half-human used to think that they were lucky to be born on the blood moon eclipse which only emerges once in a thousand years. They were proud to be a half-human unlike me, I never wanted to be one...I still don't... So here I am, trapped in a different world like a fish inside a tank. I am just like those fishes who know that they belong to the sea but still they are living in a small tank, trapped for their whole life. I also know that Alfheim is just like that small tank and there is a whole big human world out there, where I should be... The people of Alfheim don't even understand that, they are neglecting the whole f*****g world hiding in a tank where there is sea out there for them, to discover... But who am I to tell them? I just care for myself I want to leave this f*****g place and go back to my human world, my sea... My whole life turned like this just because of one man, that angel-looking man whom I trusted. This all started that day when I first met him. I f*****g regret meeting him... It all started 6 months ago... ••••••••• Luna p.o.v "Should I open my hair or make it a bun today?" I asked my sister Mary. she is my step sister and my best friend too we go to the same school and the same class since childhood her father married my mom 2 months ago they are still on their honeymoon trip so me and marry live alone in the house. "make it a bun" marry replied while wearing the uniform. "Okay, I am gonna open them" I replied and laughed and she rolled her eyes at me. My hairs are so long and Mary hates it when I open them because James started playing with my hair and then Mary feels like a third wheel but I like teasing Mary... I wear my uniform and apply some mascara and lip gloss. I wear my necklace which my father gave me when I was a child. I don't remember any of his memory because I was just two years old when he died. My mother give me that necklace on my 16th birthday she told me I was so small to wear it when my father give it to me but now I can wear it. It is a small necklace with a small butterfly pendant. It's beautiful and unique because of the small gem inside of the butterfly eyes. Sometimes I wonder how can anyone make such a small pendant with that sharp detail. After eating breakfast, we go to school. I was standing in the parking lot waiting for James when I saw a man standing near my car. he was probably 25 or 26 years old. Firstly I thought he was a new teacher because he dress up very formally white shirt and black blazer but then he started trying to open my car. I shouted from distance "hey what are you doing" That man turns towards me and he looks surprised. Looks like his eyes are going to come out because of the way he was staring at me. The man mumbled something then another man come towards us. And now it's my time to get surprised, who was he? He is looking like a god himself... •••••••••• Lucas p.o.v After searching the whole human world, I just found 12 half-humans, and finally, today is the last day of my mission because I checked all 1100 humans who were born on the blood moon and only 12 of them are half-human. My assumption was right, that humans are useless but the queen and her i***t warlock never understand this. I was lost in my thoughts when she entered the parking lot, the last one of them. Her mate color is not visible means she is not half-human but still I have to be sure. "Go and cut some of her hair and bring it to me" I ordered Michal Michal is my partner in this mission. He is loyal to the queen and a piece of s**t. "I don't think she is one of them look at her she doesn't even have any mate," said Michal "that is why I am saying to give me some of her hair so that I can make spell and check it," I said. sometimes I just wish I am allowed to kill people outside of alfheim then Michal will be the first. "but every fairy and warlock have a mate at least the color of the mate is always visible to other magical creatures until they learn to control them and in the human world, she can't learn it..so why waste our time lets go" Michal explained "Do as I say don't use your brain because you don't have it there are still chances that she is one of them," I said to Michal in anger "but everyone has a mate..umm expect you," Michal said with a smirk on his face. I know he was taunting me because no one saw my mate so everyone thinks that I am mate-less they even call me soul-less behind my back. anyways I am okay with it because not seeing my mate is far better for them than seeing my mate... I just glared at him for less than two seconds I know he didn't respect me enough to follow my command but he does fear me..everyone does.. and he started walking towards the car to pick up one of her hair which was falling in a car seat. We can detect it because of our magical strength. He could have used his magic to pick that up but as I said he is an i***t. I can do it myself but what's the fun in that. I love to order him around like a dog. Something is different about that girl but I am not able to understand it yet. Maybe because her hair is so long which I like. "good it was a waste to cut those beautiful hairs," I said to Michal "anyways if she is a half-human then she has to cut her hair. the headmistress didn't allow long hairs it is a rule" Michal said I never understand why these unnecessary rules are in school. every fairy has to make the same hairstyle until graduation. what's the logic... "hey, what are you doing"that girl shouted. When I hear her shout I go towards her to see what is happening. she was so beautiful maybe she is just human and not a fairy or witch but she is looking more beautiful than any other fairy or witch I have ever seen. her long blonde hairs make her even more beautiful and her big doe blue eyes twinkle like a star... I was so lost in her beauty that I didn't pay attention to the fact that she was able to see us...how can a normal human see us. we are not in our normal form we are like spirits. How can she see us?... Wait, she is a human fairy. "she is a human fairy," Michal said. "Yes, I have eyes. I can see clearly" My eyes caught the attention of her necklace. I turn to face Michal to see did he recognized it but he was nowhere to be found. Ughh now I have to explain to her about the whole magical world. I know he did this on purpose. It is the most difficult task to explain to humans our existence. I see the gems of her necklace glowing due to my presence. I feel my necklace is also glowing from the inside of my chest. It is going to be a difficult task to hide it in Alfhiem. I have to find out how she gets that necklace. And if what I was assuming is true then this girl is going to be the key to alfhiem and my freedom.
