Lorraine's pov

Pin drop silence followed my declaration for about a minute until the pain of the pack links being severed hit them.

Kenzo growled loudly; his mate whined in pain as I nodded to Cane to oversee and enforce my pronouncement and ensure it was followed to the letter.

I turned around to face the council, their faces full of shock and surprise. I gave them a moment to catch onto what was happening.

They needed to realize that they are not the ones in charge of lives in the kingdom, I am.

It's not their place to rule for me or tell me how to rule; it is their duty to ensure diligence, fairness, and justice and that the kingdom is being ruled well, not to rule it themselves.

"Lorraine, come on, you can't do this!!

No, it's not just allowed. Where has it been heard that a Luna Usurps the throne and banishes the Alpha?

It is vile, absurd, and definitely foolish.

Yes, he made a mistake, but you alone cannot rule Casyilia. Legally, he's still your husband, and you must continue to act the part, at least until we figure out a way to solve this.

I hear his mate is pregnant, which left him no choice. Why not accept her as one of the Royal Nannies and claim the child as the heir to Casyilia?

"Luna, please!!" I heard a few of the councilmen gasp and yell as Irvin's head rolled off his neck to the ground before he could finish what he would have termed his statement of objection.

The man was Kenzo's uncle, and he'd been a part of the council.

I'd only intended to banish Kenzo and his mate, but Snow was in no mood to stand for the kind of disrespect Irvin just tried to pull.

The pack's hall had gone gravely silent again.

It seemed no one had any more objections to make.

"I am the king, I am the queen, the Alpha, and the Luna of Casyilia.

If my position offends you, you can join Kenzo out of this kingdom.

If you have a reasonable objection, then bring it to me with the utmost respect, or I will hang your head on a f*cking spike." Snow declared.

The scent of fear filled the quiet hall.

"Now, in addition to Kenzo's punishment, his banishment will also extend to all members of the Hargleade Family, all close associates, and whoever damn wishes to leave with them.

They will be stripped of all titles and properties and blocked from any link to Casiliya. Extended families of their mates are welcome to join them, as I will not condone any more objections on this matter.

I, ALPHA LORRAINE SNOW ARAGLAV, OFFICIALLY SEAL THIS JUDGMENT IN THE BLOOD OF CASYILIA! " I announced, piercing my hands with my claws as I let three drops of my blood spill to the ground.

The last declaration was made in the casyilia mindlink to ensure every pack member was informed.

The pack link instantly began to buzz as many people suddenly began to mindlink themselves about the sudden declaration.

Understandably, they were all confused about how I was able to exile a sitting Alpha.

But what nobody knows is that three years ago, after defeating my uncle to take the reigns as the leader of Casyilia.

I entered the secret Royal chambers that can only be opened with the blood of a pure Araglav, to crown myself king, Alpha, queen and luna by reciting the royal decree and performing the blood ritual over the book of 'Derkal' as it contained the names of every family ever birthed in Casyilia. I did all that as a preventative measure for the future, but I never knew I'd need it so soon.

I walked out of the hall, headed back into the forest, and changed into my Lycan.

"Snow, please, you don't have to do this.

You can still call this off, we can talk things out. I'm sorry!! Please. You've never understood what it feels like to be with your fated mate, otherwise you'd understand why I did what I did." Kenzo's Wolf Royda was saying as they approached me, they had obviously been waiting for an opportunity to talk to me alone.

But his words were having the worst possible effect on my beast. Snow panted heavily as she instead increased her strides to get away while smirking at the thought of just killing the i***t.

"Lorraine, please!!" I heard Kenzo say, forcing his way into my head even though I'd already blocked him.

"Dark magic??!!" I roared as I turned on my heel to face him. "Or are you suddenly stronger than I am now, that you can now force your way into my mind ?" I asked him

"Lorraine, just call off this banishment. He said impatiently

"Believe me, you don't want me as an enemy. I know you think you're untouchable because of the Derkal, but you're just and will always be a flimsy little girl who's playing Alpha.

I didn't even expect you to get angry or." He paused, then continued.

"Please don't tell me you actually fell for me? Why? Because I was your first??

If you call this off now, I promise you, you can still have this goodness and my hard c**k all to yourself.

Of course, you know, I'm your only hope at love.

No other man will be able to stand that nasty attitude of yours and your lousy tantrums, where you claim to lord over everyone yet stump your feet around whenever you feel disobeyed or disrespected." he said in frustration.

"Shut up!! Shut up!! Shut up!!!" I roared as I lunged forward, my claws digging into his sides.

He let out a loud, painful howl as he tried to shove me off, but I wouldn't budge. I was only going to play with him.

I thought his ego had taken a good enough hit with the banishment, but he obviously hadn't learned anything. I am no longer just Lorraine. I am Alpha Lorraine to everyone, and he will speak to me with reverence!! I stated in my head as I flung him hard against a tree, clawing hard against his eyes that I felt my claws scrape the bones underneath his skin.

He let out another shrilling howl as he swiped his claws at me blindly, i moved away from him, not fast enough though, as his claws scratched my skin.

Then he made a run for it, the blood on his face blinding, not letting him see clearly.

I stayed in the same spot and watched as some border guards ran him out of the border, occasionally getting a chunk of his flesh as they tried to catch him.

I let Cane handle everything while I returned back to the castle to wash off every drop of his dirty blood from me as I looked forward to my second day as Alpha queen of Casyilia.
