TEARS falling, Yulla runs the expanse of the hallway. Instead of going to the elevator, she made the beeline for the fire exit. All the while, Lala is lamenting in her head. For the first time in a few months, she and her wolf were on the same page. She wiped her tears and composed herself before she pushed the door. She was startled when she saw Marion waiting beside the door. “I would like to explain myself before you make a conclusion.” She stared into the gray eyes of the tall woman. She blinked her eyes to stop another set of tears from falling. Marion held out her large palm. Yulla released a sigh slowly. Her heart felt heavy.
