"Just a scratch," Darstan said, and finished cleaning his arm. "Same," Rahg said. "My neck's just a scratch, but the one on my leg hurts. It's not bad, though." Wisp dabbed the blood oozing from his arm with meticulous care while he inspected the wound. It required no stitching, but bled at a steady flow. "Do you anticipate much of this, Rhaven? I have a strong aversion to swordplay." "Are you all right?" Rahg asked. "I'm sure I'll be fine, but I can ill afford to shed blood for you. I cherish the little I have." Rahg smiled, then turned to see the bounty man examining his staff. "What's wrong, Gregor?" "Checking for damage—cracks, or nicks that cut too deeply." Gregor showed Rahg and Darstan a few of the nicks, then moved toward Wisp. "I would think a thief to be used to bloodshed.
