The Temple of the Gods
The temple sat atop a mountain on the north side of Pomanda. An ancient stone road cut a tortuous path into the mountain's side as it climbed toward the summit.

Camissa rode at the front of the party along with Tobias and Rhaven. Rahg, Darstan, Wisp, and Gregor brought up the rear.
Guards dressed in the gold-and-white colors of the temple blocked the entrance. "Here to see the shera," Tobias said.
One of the guards led them down a path to sweeping marble steps that rose to a pair of wooden doors. From the center of each door hung a large horse head cast from bronze, with a ring serving as a knocker. Tobias lifted one of the brass ornaments and knocked on the door. Soon a priest peered through a slit in the doorway.
