Tirzinitzia stood, head held low, eyes squinted as Ghruehne entered. It pained her to have him see her like this—scarred and, even worse, subservient to Melissara. Ghruehne was still handsome—beyond handsome—almost beautiful, for a man. Many would have killed to achieve such perfection, but Tirzinitzia knew that Ghruehne rarely found satisfaction in anything.
