Return to Genda It had been a difficult twelve days since leaving Pomanda—days that Tobias would sooner forget, as would his tired bones and aching body. Rhaven pushed the mounts to their limits each day, which was far past what Tobias had grown accustomed to. It almost seemed as if his body forgot how to ride a horse. As a young man he would have ridden this distance and spent the nights in a tavern drinking vidda, but those days had passed with his wife, Shia.
