Finn’s POV
When I wake up, I’m alone in the bed and the morning sun is glaring through the windows. I look around the room for Iris but she is nowhere to be found. I get up from the bed to check the bathroom and closet but no Iris.
“Iris?” I mindlink her.
“Good morning sleepyhead.” she responds almost immediately and I let out an exasperated sigh.
“Why didn’t you wake me? I was worried sick.” I say as calmly as I can.
“You were sleeping so peacefully. I thought you could use the rest after last night. I’m at the spa getting a facial and massage before they start on my hair, nails, and makeup.” she says and I can hear the excitement in her voice.
