First sight

Mira's (POV)

Diaz paused as if he too felt that rush of power but then he knocked on the door as if it was nothing. "Come in" a voice said rather calmly from the room and in we all went. Feeling a little uneasy I walked in close behind dad not because I was scared but inside I just felt something was different to all the other times we had done this, low an behold I was right.

Diaz went and stood in front of a large black glossy desk and gestured for my father to step forward so I turned to close the door behind me as quietly as possible. The door shut with a click and I turned back round and before I could blink my back was pushed hard against the door and I was a foot off the ground held up by two large hands at my waist and a pair of bright blue eyes staring into my own, heavy breathing in my face and my wolf nowhere to be heard. "Mine" the man growled and then the shock of it hit me "this guy thinks I'm his mate" "how can this be possible surely my wolf would know and be here screaming the same?" I thought to myself, not wanting to puss this guy off I tried to smile at him at least maybe he would put me down. "Alpha Luka put my daughter down now!" I heard my dad say in his firm alpha voice and normally that would work on anyone but this alpha Luka wasn't one for listening and he just kept staring at me waiting for something " possibly my affirmation of being his mate but I didn't feel anything other than helplessness at being pinned to the door".

The alpha's eyes glowed briefly as if an inner light flicked on then he blinked and slowly lowered me back to the floor as if a switch had been thrown, he let go of me and walked back towards his desk and all of a sudden I felt cold and empty like I had lost something "what the hell was going on with me?".

"I know why you are here and I want both our packs to be at peace just as much as you do, and this treaty will be signed" said Luka but then he paused "there is a but in there I know it" I thought, " I sense there is another condition you are wanting to add to this treaty?" Dad said questioningly with his shoulders tensing he looked like he was debating with himself.

"You are right Evan I do wish to add something to the treaty" Luka spoke but as he said it he looked straight at me with his blue eyes blazing " my daughter will not be involved in this" dad said anger filling his words", " don't think I want you to give me an answer now please think it over but my wolf won't wait forever" Luka stated not taking his eyes from me.

I don't know what I was thinking but " I'll stay " I blurted and dad turned to me " sweetheart don't feel pressured to stay If your wolf does not feel this guy is your mate then you are not bound!", I couldn't tell him that I surpress my wolf and now I can't feel her that would make things worse so I just said "my wolf is a little uneasy but she responded to alpha Luka" "that settles it then Il sign the treaty and your daughter stays here with me" Luka said smiling but it didn't look genuine," my name's Mira by the way and don't think I'm just going to mate with you and let you own me" I huffed and I stormed out of the room to where I didn't know.
