After a while, we shifted back and went back to the Packhouse. Neither Stella nor I were in a chatting mood, so we ran in silence. I was honestly disturbed by what our future held, and I had no idea how I was supposed to break that to her.
We shifted back to human form and wore our clothes. As soon as we looked at each other, there was a silent understanding that it was neither the time, place nor moment to talk about what I had seen. I was thankful for the understanding she showed and for giving me time to process everything.
