I wanted to take her to the pack house, and suddenly Max started nagging me that he wanted her close, he was giving me a headache. “Max, what is going on?” I asked for the nth time, and he jumped up and down “I sensed her wolf, and I want to be close to her…” He said, and I stopped in my tracks to his confession “Is she our mate?” I asked cautiously, and his answer left me more confused than ever “I have no idea, I just know that I need her close…”
