In this situation too Emma was certain her friends would be happy. She bought them those gifts because she’d noticed both of them had desperately searched for those items for the past month or so but with no luck in finding them. And the only reason Emma was able to find those two perfumes while the others couldn’t was because she had personal connections with several stores, out of which one informed her there would be an auction that night. Of course they couldn’t stop the auction and simply hand the perfumes over to her since that was against their store’s policy but giving out information wasn’t really forbidden…
So Emma went out of her way to buy this for the two most important people in her life just to show her appreciation towards them… And o
