"You're back home already?" Tessa asked as soon as Aaron let go of his hands from her waist. Aaron gave her a quick glance and turned his gaze away, clearing his throat, Tessa could have sworn he saw him blush.
"Yeah, and you should be careful next time to avoid a fall, what if l wasn't here at the right time to save you?" Aaron asked sternly, a glint of concern that he was trying so hard to conceal was evident in his voice as he spoke.
Tessa glared at him and was awed, she never thought Aaron would be concerned about her enough to not want her injured or hurt, she thought to herself and smiled much to Aaron's oblivion.
"Don't get me wrong. I don't want you hurting yourself under my roof that's all" Aaron protested, trying to sound rather convincing.
