I just got back from my trip, I had called my wife to let her know that I would stop by at the office, I just wanted this over and done with, I glared at the cheque in my hand and turned my gaze away.
I had invited Lisa over to the office to talk to her and make her understand that things are no longer the way it used to be, my heart yawns for only Tessa and I can't live without her.
I just hope she doesn't get this wrong, I'm not trying to pay her off, I just wanted her to use the money to get back on her feet.
I know this wasn't the plan but then life happened, life brought me Tessa.
I saw the the blank expression on Lisa's face as I handed over the cheque to her, she looked disappointed at first and then a look I couldn't identify crossed her face before tears started rolling
