MAGGIE'S POV
I made Isabel a cup of coffee to make her feel better and it was actually working. She come to meet me in the kitchen and we decided to have a chat at the kitchen balcony.
" I am so sorry that I didn't meet with you at our favourite restaurant," Isabel apologized.
"Come on Isabel, don't do this. I understand that sometimes you need time to take care of your own issues," I told her.
"Um- okay," She sighed before sipping on her coffee.
" I am sorry, I should not be bringing up issues with Eric but I can't help it. I just feel so bad." I told my best friend.
" He does not deserve you," She said firmly.
"I wish it was that easy to leave him. But I can't. I love the guy despite all this," I was very honest with her.
