As the last of the apples were packed a sigh left his lips. They had continuously worked to get them packed in time. Sanaah had sent her ride back so he promised her to drop back home.
He had not expected her to stay up late. It's not like she needed extra money and clearly sometimes skipped packing duties to chat with Lenon. When she offered him to help he was truly taken back and it took him few seconds to accept that.
Neil usually complained about staying up late and packing but when Sanaah was working beside him and cracking jokes he was going along with it. James usually did the same, moaned about overworking but he joined Sanaah and did not complain once. Zander counted that as a win. She made it possible.
