“Fudge! fudge! Fudge!” Elisse can’t stop cursing when the video call got cut off. As it turns out, her internet connection cut-off. She was worried that Matt may not know that she’s no longer online with him. She’s wondering what he may be doing at the moment and she’s getting excited just thinking about it. She’ll try to contact him later when the connection resumes. Maybe they can continue where they left off.
She heard the oven ding indicating that the brownies are done baking. She took them out of the oven and laid them on the counter to let them cool. In the meantime, she decided to clean the house a bit. The brownies have cooled down once she done tidying up, so cut them up and packed them up in boxes.
