11 ZEKE I cut out of work early on Thursday since I’d cancelled Lily and Levi’s four o’clock appointment. Although exhaustion hung on me like an oxen’s yoke since Tuesday night, I pulled on shorts and my running shoes, hoping to tire my body to the point I would pass the f**k out. I ran on empty.
