I blinked several times before meeting my mother’s eyes who look worried staring back at me.
“Mom? What happened?” My voice sound hoarse and she quickly help me get up from the.. couch?
Then I realize everyone around me looking at me.

“You fainted, Lus”
Fainted?!
“Luckily there’s someone walk pass this house and see you laying on the garden behind, or...” My mother sighed and turn her head when I notice a man standing behind her lock his gaze on me.
Him..
I know him.
“I come to say my condolise when I notice she lay lifeless there” He speak and my mother smile widely to him.
“Thank you..”
“Malcolm” He grasp my mother’s hand and shake it “I’m Malcolm Black” He speak while his eyes staring intensely on me.
Blush, I’m trying to not blush with how intense his eyes on me.
Why he’s looking at me like that?
“I guess we better end this day” An old woman suddenly speak and everyone nodded agreeing her “You two better get a rest” She continue before cup my left cheek with her hand “And you, take care of yourself okay” She smile warmly and I return it immediately.
After she’s left, people start follow her and say their goodbye and sorry again for our lost until it only left Phil and Malcolm.
“You okay?” My mom asked and I nodded to assured her before I saw her leaving with Phil, but give a small smile to Malcolm who stood firmly behind her.
I raise a brow in surprise when see her leaving.
What?
Is she serious?
She’s leaving me alone with a stranger?
Try to make my expression neutral, slowly I get up from the couch and take a seat when he start walking closer and shockingly kneel in front of me.
“You okay?” He asked, again, staring intensely on me.
I nod nervously “Just tired I guess. Thank you for um..” I keep my head down, to ashame to meet his grey eyes that I know lock on me.
“My pleasure, Lucia”

The wind... It’s... It’s his voice?
I raise my head quickly after he call my name and meet his gaze.
“What is it?” He asked when he notice my questioning gaze.
“Call me again”
“Excuse me?” He frown when he hear my word, but I need to know.
Am I really crazy?
Or his voice is the voice that I keep calling my name?!
I need to know if that's not my imagination.
“Could you please call me by my name?” I repeat with a longer question and saw his eyes recognize something but keep calm hiding it.
He smile when he finally speak “Lucia”
Oh God..
It’s his voice!
It’s him!!
Oh God, I think I am crazy.
I groan and put down my head on my palm.
“What’s wrong?” He asked but I’m to busy with my mind.
At first the same forest.
It was the forest that I kept dreaming these years that I thought only a coincidence and ignore it.
But then, HIM!
Those voice...
I know because I keep hearing when the wind blow and I know how it sound.
But it can’t be...
“Lucia?”
Oh God, what happen to me?
I gasped loudly when Malcolm hand cup my cheek and raise my head slowly to meet his grey eyes.
“Malcolm” I whispered his name and again his eyes twitch with emotion for a second before he hid it. We staring at each other eyes for a second, he’s staring for studying me while I’m just suck deeply to his intense gaze.
Knock.. Knock..
“Master”
I blinked and quickly back my head from him and hear growl after that before I turn my head to see another handsome man standing on the door.
“Tobius” Malcolm speak coldly without turning his gaze away from me.
I clear my throat and try to move my body when I realize our position that so close.
What happen to me?
I just meet him?!
“Phil just leaving and oh..” My mother walk in the living room and frown when he notice another man presence “I didn’t know we have another company” She said kindly and the Tobius man nod politely to her.
Malcolm stood up and close his eyes for a second before he speak “This is Tobius, Ma’am”
“Nice to meet you, Tobius” My mother greet him and shake his hand.
“He’s the one who inform me about your grandmother before I decide to come here” He explain and my mother nod understanding before take a seat beside me.
She grap my hand “You okay?” She asked.
“Fine, just tired I guess” I reply with the same word that I give to Malcolm and saw her nod unconviced but know to not asking more since there a guest here.
“So, you two from here? I never know about the both of you since in this small town everyone’s know everyone” My mother start talking with a kind tone.
Malcolm nod politely “You know the Black mansion in the the forest on the hill?” I saw my mother’s nod before Malcolm continue “I just inherit those land 4 years ago so I guess you never heard me”
”I thought it was an abandon house since I never knew it was own by someone and you need to go inside the forest before you can reach it” My mother gasped.
“Yes, I heard the story about this Silent forest” Malcolm look amused when he speak while my mother laugh.
“It was a legend of this town” She respond and softly I heard Tobius snort but when I turn my head he keep his face unexpression.
Malcolm look mad when I turn my head back to him.
Okay, what is going on with him and this Tobius?
“Oh my, where is my manner” My mother gasped and stood up quickly “Do you guys want to drink anything?” She asked and Malcolm shook his head politely.
“Don’t need to, we both need to leave anyway”
“You sure?”
“Yes” He grasp his jacket from Tobius and my mother walk them to the door.
They start walking and talking but I’m too busy with what I saw and know today.
I’m too afraid with what my mind telling me.
“Bye, Lucia” Gasped, I jump when Malcolm voice on my ear and blush when he kiss my cheek.
I thought he’s leaving with my mother!
He stroke my cheek for a second and staring at me with the eyes that telling me he didn’t want to leave before he stood up and lost on the door.
I release a hard breath that I didn’t realize I hold and leaning on the couch.
Oh God, what’s happen?
Why he act like that?

. . (Meanwhile) . .
“You almost claim her, Sir” Tobius explain himself when he start driving the car.
“She was mine from the beginning” Malcolm state firmly without turning his head from the house, hurting to leave his woman again when she supposed to be go him when he finally find her.
“She’s human, sir” Malcolm growl angrily, he really hate when his people call Lucia human and show she’s lower than them and Tobius supposed to know it. Tobius know what in his master mind so he quickly added “She’ll need an explanation before you can finally taking her with us to our world or she’ll end hating you”
Malcolm know how reasonable his bodyguard words but hate to admit it.
“At least she’s here sir” Tobius continue and glad to see his master nod agreeing him.
Tobius, again, was right ‘At least she’s here’ because this time he won’t take any chance to lose her.
“I got everything about her when I’m in this world in those envelope, sir” Tobius words snap him and he grap the envelope before open it and studying everything in 5 minutes.
Malcolm take a deep breathe and smile with the information he grasp.
Now he know everything about his lover and feel satisfied with what he found out.
He know he didn’t trust God, but right know he feels like God also support him.
It’s time....
