CHAPTER 6 Kennedy woke up the next morning to the sound of her cell screeching. As soon as she remembered what she was doing in the Lindgrens’ guest room, she reached to turn off her alarm only to realize it was her dad calling. “Hello?” She hated the way her voice sounded so groggy in the morning.
