Chapter 10

-Lilith P.O.V.-

1 month later…

“Nick, come in here please.” I yell out from my office.

He is beside me in his office handling some business matters. I ended up giving some of the load onto him, so I wasn’t so swamped with paperwork. Some are pack matters while most are from our businesses. I mainly deal with the pack matters, but it feels good to lighten the load a bit. Nick comes into my office with some papers in his hand. I shake my head and laugh knowing that he doesn’t understand them, or he doesn’t know what to do.

“You yelled for me.” I laughed from how he asked me that way. He chuckled too.

“I have some news to tell you.” He sits down in front of my desk looking worried.

“You aren’t leaving us for hell, are you?” He asked. I shook my head, he is worried that I will leave, but I am not going anywhere.

“Nick, stop it. I am not going anywhere. I am here to stay. Hell is doing mighty fine without me there, but I will visit for time to time. Asmodeus doesn’t want me to leave the pack and he supports me staying here. So, stop it.” Nick lets out a breath and nods.

“Well, what is up? Because I need help.” I chuckle at him. He is so damn cute for his own good.

“I am pregnant. I am about 3 weeks along.” Nick drops everything from his hands and looks up at me.

“W…w..what? What did you just say?” He stutters out.

“I am going to have a child. I am 3 weeks along.” I say again.

He suddenly jumps up making me jump because it scared me. He ran over to me and dragged me out of my chair and pulled me into a tight hug. I laughed at his reaction. He is going to be such a great uncle. I hugged him back the same and just before he got to say something Randy comes in. Nick pulls away from the hug and yells.

“WE ARE GOING TO BE UNCLES!” Randy stops walking and just stares at me with an eyebrow raised.

“I am pregnant. 3 weeks along.”

Randy smiles and comes over to me and pulls me in a gentle hug. He kisses my cheek and I smile at him.

“I am so happy for you, Lilith.” Randy says.

“I am so excited! I am going to be an uncle!!” Nick says.

I chuckle at him because I knew he was going to react this way. I felt happiness course through me as I can feel how happy Nick and Randy are.

“I also called you in here to tell you that I need to step away from the pack land. I have to go and tell Asmodeus. I am going to tell him in person.” Nick and Randy nod.

I grab all of my things and head to my car. I hop in my car heading towards Asmodeus’s job. He has moved in with me full-time even though his job is an hour away. He doesn’t complain or anything. He is extremely supportive of me. I am so lucky to have him as my mate. An hour later, I am pulling into the parking deck. Chuckling at I am pulling into the spot next to Asmodeus’s. He made sure to place a parking space for me only. It had my name on it and everything. I head out of the car making sure I had everything and locked the car doors.

I headed inside and the lady who works at the front desk just smiled at me. Everyone knew who I was at this point. They just called me his wife. I wave at her and smile while she waves back. I head in the elevators and press the top number where Asmodeus office is located. Once the elevator doors open, I see his new secretary sitting there. He fired his old one once he found me and replaced her with a him instead of a her.

His new secretary was very professional and Asmodeus ended up letting him take on more responsibilities. I smiled at Henry and he smiled back.

“How is he today?” I ask Henry.

“He is okay. Not too good. People are pissing him off. Does he know that you are here to see him?” I shake head.

“No, he does not. I have come to surprise him. How is your wife by the way?” Henry smiles once I asked about his wife. He loves so much.

“She is perfect. We are actually going to celebrate our 2-year wedding anniversary tonight.” He said with a smile.

“That is so sweet!” I could feel how much he loved her through his energy. “Alright, I am going to go ahead through. Is that okay?”

Henry nods. Even if Asmodeus was in a meeting he would want me to barge in. He doesn’t care. He would be pissed if I didn’t. He wants me to see him the moment I enter the building. I head towards his office and I feel that someone is in there with him. I knock on the door, knowing that he can feel my presence, I hear him say come in.

I walk in and I feel sick to my stomach. Someone is in here with him and I can feel his dark energy without even having to look at him. Asmodeus looks at me and I can see in his eyes that he is losing his patience. I walk over to him and ignore the man sitting in front of his desk. Asmodeus grabs me and pulls me into his lap. My back is against his chest and he sticks his face in my hair.

“You must be the wife.” The old man says.

“Yes, I am. Lilith Black, and you are?” I ask with a smile.

“Devon Greed. It is an honor to meet you.” He says with a wicked smile. “We should all go out one night. My wife would love to meet you.”

I could feel his motive. He doesn’t have a wife and I can feel that he really wants to do something with me. I mindlink Asmodeus: He doesn’t have a wife and he wants me.

Asmodeus tightens his grip on me and I feel the anger off of him. He lifts me up making me stand and I move to the side. He stands up and puts his hands on his table.

“I will meet with you another time. My wife is here, and I don’t have time to waste on you anymore.” Devon just nods and he goes to shake my head, but Asmodeus smacks his hand.

Devon just chuckles and walks out. I turn towards Asmodeus and pull him into me. He grips my hips and pulls me into his chest. I wrap my arms around his neck while he buries his face in my hair.

“I am so glad that you came in because I was about to kill him.” I chuckle and he lets go.

He sits down in his chair and I hop up on his desk. He loosens his tie from around his neck.

“What’s up, baby?” He asks me. I make my face as serious as possible.

“I have something that I need to tell you.” Asmodeus looks at me worried.

“You aren’t leaving me, are you? Because I will hunt you down.” I chuckle at what he said because I know he would.

“I could never leave you, my King. You are my life. I have something else to tell you that is going to change your life.” Asmodeus looks at me with his eyebrow raised.

“Can you tell me before I have a heart attack, please.” I motion for him to come closer to me with my hand.

He scoots forward in his chair. I grab his hand and place it on my stomach. He looks at me like I am crazy. I chuckle and then I lean forward and cup his face.

“You’re going to be a daddy.” I say with tears in my eyes.

Asmodeus looks at me with wide eyes trying to process what I just said. Then he jumps up making his chair fall backwards and he tackles me. I fall back on the desk, but he is quick to sit me back up. He wraps his arms around my waist and buries his face in my neck. Before I can say anything, he drops on his knees. His face is inline with my stomach.

“You have our child in you? Like you are really carrying our child in you?” He looks up at me with tears in his eyes.

I nod my head. “Yes, baby.” I have tears coming down my face.

He stands up and kisses me. I wrap my hands around his neck. I could feel the love he is pouring into the kiss. He pulls away and presses his forehead against me making me smile.

“You have brought nothing but happiness into my world since I have met you. Thank you, my Queen.”

I broke down at that. Never in my life did I think that I would be blessed with such happiness either.
