About One Year Later
Catalina’s POV
“How are you feeling?” I ask Andrew as I put Jade in her high chair.
“I’m fine, I promise.” He answers.
Today we are heading to Bear’s pack lands for a meeting. Although Bear hasn’t disclosed what the meeting is going to be about. I know being there will trigger some difficult memories for Andrew. He hasn’t completely gotten over Julie’s death. I’m still not sure how to feel about it. Although if I’m being honest with myself, I definitely pretended to be more sad than I felt after it happened.
We hear a cry come from the baby’s room.
“I’ll get him.” Andrew says. He gets up from the table.
