Catalina’s POV
“Are you sure you’ll be alright? I don’t have to go. I can always reschedule.” I tell Flora as I hesitate to hand Jade to her.
“No, no dear. We’ll be fine. You just go on.” Flora says scooping Jade up and shooing me out of the door. I look to Andrew to back me up, but one look at his face tells me that he agrees with his mom.
Pffft. Momma’s boy.
Today I’m leaving Jade to go to visit Bear’s pack for a meeting about his official Alpha Announcement. We’re basically planning out the evening, and giving Bear a list of the other Alphas that will be there.
This will be the first time I’m not less than a minute away from Jade. She’s always been just down the hall, or in the other room, and I’m nervous.
