Kara's POV:
The only thing saving me from the wrath of Atticus for leaving the tree before he either sent someone out to get me or he came out himself, was the fact that when I woke up, he, several of the guards, and that visitor were all out hunting. They weren't out hunting humans, they found two nests that needed to be destroyed. I'm not really sure how long all of that takes or when in the middle of the night they had left so I didn't know how much time I would have.
I'm currently on my way to the small library of books that King Atticus took along with him when we first moved away from the castle. There isn't much here because most of the important books stay with the current King and where ever it is they are living. What I'm looking for may not even exist in the books that we have
