I just stood there and watched him exit the room. I slowly placed my hand over my neck where he had bitten me. I could feel that my hand was shaking just a little as my fingers lightly grazed over my skin. I closed my eyes and imagined him kissing my neck again but more as a romantic kiss and not aggressively like he just did.
The feel of his lips on my neck caused a feeling I had never felt before. Sure, Atticus has kissed my neck several times, a lot more than any other King has ever kissed my neck, and never did I feel what I felt when this King kissed me.
