Emma walks absentmindedly through the room full of guests, her mind preoccupied with the way things have changed. Suddenly, she feels someone take her arm. When she turns to see who it is, she finds Matías.
"We need to talk," Matías says, pulling her toward the exit to find a secluded spot where they can speak privately.
"Let go of me," Emma says softly, trying not to attract the attention of the other guests.
"I'm not going to let you go, and you'd better follow me without protesting," he replies in a threatening tone.
Emma considers contradicting him but ultimately decides to see what he wants to discuss so urgently.
They leave the mansion and head to a quiet part of the garden to talk.
