Danian’s POV
She was leaning toward me, and her back was facing me. She sat between my legs, and her eyes were shut. I still need clarification about her sudden change. I wondered whether Pepper had to do something with this sudden change of hers. What if Pepper does something to Samira to go back, and she takes control? I need to control myself and not do what she asks.
“How are you feeling now?” I asked, caressing her arms.
“Feeling better, now. The pain was not worse than before. Thank you,” she muttered. Her voice was calm, and she was not struggling to fight with the pain. I was glad that she was feeling good and she calmed down.
“Hmmm,” she hummed, and her breath-taking slowed; her breath speed became normal. I kissed the top of her head, and she jolted a bit.
