"What made your friend turn on you?"
Ronin asked, after telling him most of my dreams were about Trevor and some memories I've recollected are fragments of him and parents.
"My friend? He was never my friend, I didn't have any friends in school. I was used to being in the shadows until Trevor came alone and I became an outcast." Ronin frowned at my answer.
"If you were always in the shadows, how did you come to know him? I thought he was your only friend, but something happened."
Ronin asked for more clarity, and I sighed.
"Jaidyn, my older brother, had a friend named Skylar who died three weeks after Jaidyn disappeared from home. Trevor is Skylar's younger brother who returned to town after Skylar's death and he transferred to the school."
I explained, and Ronin nods.
