"You really need to tone it down", I gave him a playful nudge as we walked into the clearing.
The past few weeks had been absolute heaven with Dave. Everyday promised a new surprise gift or picnic or shopping spree but my favorite had been the days when we sat and had the most meaningful conversations.
We would talk about anything and everything from the most interesting to the bland and boring.
Now, we were heading towards the clearing after he had dragged me from the warmth of the bed and into the cold. The freezing temperature of the forest would probably kill a human but it was much milder for werewolves.
"It's not too far now", he said with a smile.
"This is one of your surprises. You really should stop doing that", I rolled my eyes.
