“Here, feel the plant, the life within it. It's like when you touch the lives of the children within you.” Bel's hand slid to her abdomen, cupping her stomach. He brought her fingertips to the bush. “Close your eyes.” He murmured beside her ear. Emma's heartbeat had kicked up, but she did as told, trying to concentrate. Bel chuckled.
“Emma, my sweet, you can't concentrate on me. The plant love, though I do appreciate the attention, it's very... stirring...” Bel purred, pressing his hips against her. She gasped at his arousal pressing against her lower back.
“Now I'll never be able to concentrate.” She griped at Bel.
“Well, we could always take a quick break.” Bel suggested lasciviously, nibbling her neck.
“We'll never get anything done if we do.” Emma sucked in a breath and tried to focus on the bush. She searched for the little spark that she felt when she looked inside her body.
“It won't be quite like that. It's a plant, so its life-force is going to be slower. Look deeper Emma.” Bel murmured. Emma closed her eyes and reached for it... and then she felt it. A small pulsing between her fingers. There was a dull sheen lighting up behind her eyelids to accompany it, and when she opened her eyes, she could see it, the way the plant gently pulsed with the luminescence. “That's excellent Emma!” Breathed Bel. “Now look at the broken branch.”
Emma turned her attention to the branch. The light was nearly gone there, the pulsing had stopped. The branch would very soon be dead, but it had not entirely died yet. There was still life within it. Emma reached for it and Bel let her hand go. She shifted the branch so that it was sitting flush with its broken edge. Now how did she get the two pieces to connect?
“Don't concentrate on the physical, so much as the life underneath Emma.” Bel softly instructed. Emma examined the light. How could she get the pulsing healthy light to continue to the dying part? “Yes, that's it.” Bel exhaled excitedly. Emma slid her fingers directly over the wound in the bush. She could feel the pulse ending in her ring and middle finger, but not continuing on through her index finger and thumb. Could she pull that pulse through her fingers? Bel sucked a breath in through his teeth as Emma tugged the pulse of light through her fingers and into the dying branch, connecting it to what was left of the light within. The dying branch suddenly lit up and pulsed with life, sluggishly at first, but more quickly as the toxins were moved out of the dying parts. Emma watched in wonder as the leaves began to unfurl and turn a lovely green again. The branch began to move under her fingers and she let go in shock, and it collapsed, immediately beginning to die again. Emma cried out, upset.
“It's alright Emma. Next time don't let go until it's fully healed.” Bel kissed her cheek. “You did amazing for your first try, figuring out those connections all on your own.” He turned her face and kissed her deeply. “Now try again.” He breathed heatedly, eyes sparkling.
It took Emma longer than she'd like to admit to get the hang of reviving the plant without resorting to tears, but she did manage to heal one entire bush. By the time she was done, she was feeling a little drained. Bel, on the other hand, was looking incredibly energetic. Or maybe Emma should just say aroused, because he was eyeing her like she was the most delicious thing he'd ever seen.
“You amaze me.” He purred, clutching her to him. “Every day, there's something new that just takes my breath away.” Bel trailed kisses from the corner of her mouth down her neck. She moaned and let her head fall back. His lust burned through her, powerful and heady. He tugged her gently behind the row of bushes. “I can't wait to get you inside, I'm sorry Emma.” Bel snapped his fingers and a blanket appeared behind her.
“You had this planned.” She accused and Bel chuckled.
“Perhaps to some extent.” He admitted with a low growl as he tugged her down to the blanket. She placed a hand on his chest to stop him.
“Bel... aren't you... upset? That I.. have been with someone else and now you...” Emma gestured at the blanket. Bel growled.
“Yes.” He sighed. “And no.” He tugged her down to straddle his hips.
“I told you just recently I understood the drive, the duty. I don't like sharing you, but I have done many rites in my time. How can I say something when you don't try to berate me? But on the other hand... Consider this my way of reclaiming what's mine.” He growled, rolling them over so that he straddled her. She squealed slightly.
“I feel guilty.” Emma admitted. Bel ran a hand down her cheek.
“Is it aiding those you're trying to help?” Bel asked gently.
“I think it is.” Emma bit her lower lip.
“Then don't feel guilty Emma. You're hanging on to a set of moral that doesn't apply to you anymore. I admire your attempt at faithfulness to me, but we cannot help what we are and the duties we are called to preform.” Bel kissed her gently, but Emma wondered if what she was doing was really a duty, or just a desire. Bel watched her for a moment or two more as she seemed to disappear into herself in that absent way she had.
“Come back to me Emma.” Bel murmured. “I was trying very hard to avoid telling you this, but there are still celebrations yearly that I must attend, in which I participate...” Emma blinked and looked at him. She smacked his shoulder.
“Jerk!” She said as he laughed. “You let me sit here feeling guilty and you're...mmph.” Bel smothered her words with a passionate kiss, and gently began removing her clothing. Emma squirmed when he sat back to look at her.
“So beautiful.” He whispered. He placed a hand on her abdomen, over their children, but all Emma could think of was saying the same thing to Cern. She looked away, biting her lip. Bel gripped her chin gently and tilted her face back to him. “What's wrong beloved?” He asked softly. She shook her head, fighting back tears, and decided on a misdirection. Emma ran her fingers down Bel's chest.
“You haven't let your other Forms out to play in a while. It seems we always get interrupted when your Incubus side is around...” Emma ran her fingernails back up his chest, circled his collarbone, slid them back down over his ribs. She got the satisfaction of seeing his muscles tense slightly. Then a chuckling growl started to roll from his chest and Emma looked up at him, startled. He snapped his fingers again, and beside them a basket came into view. His skin began to grey as he reached within the basket with sharp claws and pulled out a few items. She recognized a familiar bottle and squeezed her thighs together at the sight of the lubricant. Bel's four wings burst from his back, his hair darkened and horns sprouted from within the hairline above his now pointed ears, distracting her. He readjusted his weight on legs that sprouted fur and merged with the leathery skin and taloned feet of an eagle as a furred tail waved into view. Having been nude when he shifted, he was nude now, crouched over her with a look of extreme amusement with sharp teeth exposed, bat-like nose and sharp features smirking at her. Instead of being terrified, Emma was instantly, incredibly... aroused. Bel sniffed slightly and shook his head, his tail wagging gently.
“How, after all this time, do you still find this Form pleasing?” Bel chuckled, bending to lower himself over her. “But I did prepare for this, in case you asked little one. Because you have mentioned it a couple of times now, haven't you? My little Demon addict darling...” Bel teased.
“Hey!” Emma protested, but she couldn't deny it, since the first time Bel had taken her in this Form, she'd been craving more, and seeing his inhuman member becoming aroused was just making it worse. She groaned.
“Just remember-we have to make sure you're well prepared beloved. Yes you can heal in this Form, but let's not tempt the fates, hmm?” Bel murmured, leaning his forehead against Emma's. Emma didn't think that would be much of a problem, she was already feeling quite excited.
