They stood few steps apart from each other as she lowers her gaze to avoid matching eye contact with him as it might lead to another unwanted situation and she’ll do anything to avoid that.

To be candid here, any other person wouldn’t have translated what he said the same way Aurelia did and she knows what he meant.

Aurelia clears her throat to say something; “hmm, I cannot go home right now because of my dad”

“Did I say otherwise?” He raised his brows, in a way that was somehow annoying to the likes of Aurelia as she shot him a look that was totally out of this world.

“You did not.” She said. “I’m only telling you so you’ll not think that I really do want to stay here with you!” she announced, now she sounds like her usual self.

His manly built body and the position she met him must have suck out a part of her sense for her not to realize that no one should judge a book by it cover, especially in terms of the gender (MEN).

A long minute of silence drew a line between them as they were not willing to talk.

“I believe I should just take my leave,” he utt

ered.

“Yeah, you should…” Aurelia retorted, but from the looks on his face, you could tell that he probably did not hear or see her mouth move.

“Some other day, if our path should ever cross again, I’ll repay your kindness and return your belongings?” He explained and furthered to leave.

A part of Aurelia really wants him out of her sight but there was tiny string, more like 1% out of 100 and it was more like she wanted to stop him because she knew the rain has just did a test run and the main run would pour 6x.

He did walk out and she immediately went ahead to seat on the bed with her gaze lowered and her mind was filled with thoughts of moments ago.

It was just 5 minutes after when the heavy sound of thunderstorm rings aloud and she slowly fidgeted, her mind flashed to him but then she just decides to wear it off.

Aurelia pulled up from the bed and got up to lock the doors as the wind was blowing leaves inside the hut.

“I should turn off my phone!” Aurelia said the minute her phone starts to ring.

Just as she was about to lock the door, a loud bang on it made her took a hurried step to the back and to her surprise, he was there.

Standing in front of her,

Fully soaked from head to toe, the lightning of the thunderstorm dropped on his face and at that moment.

It looks as if the time has stopped for them, for her to explore him more properly.

His curly hair, now wet was swayed to the back of his neck and his blue eyes reflects like the shadow of the night, his chiseled jaw made a perfect outline of his face and damn!

His kissable lips killed everything, she just couldn’t stop herself from staring.

He looks so perfect, like an alien, totally out of her imagination.

Aurelia spent the whole time gawking at him whilst holding herself back from drooling even though she couldn’t help it.

“I…” his lips shuddered, he was cold.

“Come in, hurry up!” Aurelia was shocked to see herself letting him in and it was just normal to her.

He was quick to dry himself up by a towel provided by Aurelia, obviously and she was busy going through her phone that had lost connection.

“You wa…” she paused, contemplating if it was okay to be the push button in their conversation.

“I really thought I could leave here, the rain just started all of a sudden and I had no choice than to come back here” he explains, raising his brows.

“Sorry but, your name?” It sounds awkward, probably because the question wasn’t clear.

“Logan…” he replied with a loud yawn.

“Logan,” she hummed to herself, more like reminiscing on something.

“Are you hungry or…”

“The second choice!” He butted in, she was caught by surprise.

“I didn’t say the second choice…yet,”

“I know but it’s definitely sleep and I really need to sleep” he explained further.

Aurelia just nodded her head whilst pretending as if she actually has something to jot down into the diary she was holding but it was just so he could sleep way before her.

The night went on and Aurelia ended up falling asleep right beside him, he was able to unlock his eyes for a moment and seeing her by his side just made him smile for no exact reason.

Aurelia rolled from the right side of the bed to the left side whilst sniffling, just because her nose couldn’t help itself.

She felt drained and tired that she was just still for about 15 minutes before waking up, again, her stomach grumbled due to hunger but her nose needs to find where it’s coming from.

She hopped down from the bed, rising to her feet as she finds herself walking out of the hut. Her eyes darted to the beautiful sight in front of her, Logan crouched on his feet whilst using a big dry leave as his alternative to keep the fire burning.

“What are you doing?” She stood with her legs crossed and her hands in the same accordance whilst staring at him.

“I believe in early morning hunger if you had nothing for dinner” he replied, in a way that got her cracked her up.

“And what is that?”

“Come closer, the sight is beautiful!” He smiled , beckoning to her.

Aurelia obliged and rushed to meet him, her body suddenly felt stiff the minute she got closer only to realize what he was preparing.

A elk?’ She thought to herself, her body felt somehow as well.

“It’s a elk, nothing taste as good as it when it is roasted!” He added, going on with its preparation.

“Elk of all animals to kill?, when you’re not a wolf” She muttered in a funny way but the whole situation said otherwise.

She was beginning to have a second thoughts and her mind was telling her not to jump into conclusion because to her.

He wasn’t a wolf, if he was, she’d have sensed that and recognize him as one the minute she saw him but he doesn’t portrays any of their characters.

And again, why was he in the middle of the forest, naked with wounds.

Her head was starting to hurt.

“Ouch!” Aurelia screamed when the fire sprinkles dropped on her upper back when he was trying to show her the final look of the elk.

“So sorry, it was a mistake!” He dropped what he was holding and rushed to pull her top to be sure that her back was safe.

She tries to stop him but he was already checking her.

“Sal Mark!” Logan exclaimed in disbelief.
