CHAPTER 2: Lexy

Victoria's POV

It's been a week since Grandma had dropped the bomb. And my mind has been restless then. Maybe grandma is only being dramatic. How can I be in the middle of a war when I don't know even know another being, except for my grandma and family.

And it's also been five lonely days since grandma had gone to go to her sister's temple to look for some answers about what was her dreams are about.

I'm currently sitting under a tree here in the garden. It's outside the gates of the mansion. It's my favorite place here.

I'm reading a book that my grandma had left for me to study while she is gone.

It's about how to disguise and glamour myself and others that I please, to look at someone or something else.

It's one of my favorite power. I can copy someone's look. I once tried to copy grandma's look and she nearly had a heart attack. Her face was hilarious.

I sigh and continue to read and practice.

After I had finish studying I go inside to sleep and rest my mind a little.

And after my little nap, I go to the bathroom and shower. After I had finish dressing into a light green summer dress. I check the clock and it's only around 2:30 pm. Ugh! It's still so early.

I'm so bored!!

"Yeah. Me too." a voice sounded in my head. I jump in fright.

Am I going insane? I think my loneliness is turning me crazy!

"No your not crazy," the voice said laughing at me. And my bright blue-green eyes widen.

"Who are you," I asked the voice.

"My name is Lexy and I am your wolf"

I gasp

"What?"

"I am your wolf, isn't it so exciting," she said excitedly.

"B-but grandma said that I-I'm n-not a werewolf" I stutter. Still in shock.

"That's because she thought that you still weren't ready" she sighs."And because we're not a werewolf, were a Lycan."

"But how?" I whisper.

"Our father," she said sadly and I frown.

"Father?"

"Yes, he just disappeared after a week of our mother meeting him. Our mom tried to look for him, she even use her power to find him but she never once succeeds. Then she found out about us and tried harder on finding him but with such no luck, she never did. Grandma and Grandpa asked Mom who the father was but mom never tells them, so they just supported her." she explained.

I'm so shocked at what I'm hearing. My father. Grandma always tells me stories about my mother but never my father. She even tells me how my mom and grandpa died from their old pack. But my father.

"How do you know all of this?" I asked.

"I don't know, it's like it's been program in my head" she shrugged.

"Your real" I whisper. Then I realize something."Why didn't I shift when I was younger?"

"Because grandma Is still training you so I waited until you are strong enough to handle the shifting."

"How can I talk to you when I don't even shift yet?" I asked.

"Because you now can control your power easily, I can make my appearance now. So be ready to shift soon," she said seriously.

"Will you going to help me?" I asked nervously.

"Of course," she said smiling at me.

"So when will I going to shift?"

She grinned

"Tonight"

Elena's POV

The moon is shining so bright in the sky illuminating the pitch-black forest.

I know she Is going to shift soon. I notice the shifting of her bright blue-green eyes to gold when she Is reading but she doesn't notice It yet. And her aura is more powerful than before, even more, powerful than mine.

It's time, she's ready.

The dream I had told her was a lie. I only told her that so I can distance myself from her. She needs to live on her own and make her own choice and decision. And to figure out what the future has been destined for her in the future.

With her mate.

Victoria's POV

I keep pacing back and forth in my room. My anxiety keeps growing and growing while I waited for something to happen.

"Calm down, you will be fine," Lexy said calmly.

"But what if something goes wrong, what if I die, what if you die, what if we both d-." she cuts me off.

"Tory, calm the hell down, no one will die. Remember who you are and what you are, you are not weak. Your strong, fearless, and a very brave woman." she said sincerely.

I stopped pacing and then her words struck me like tons of bricks.

She's right what am I doing? I'm stronger than this, I'm not going to be scared. Grandma always made sure of that. I need to make her proud and when she comes back I will tell her everything.

Suddenly a sharp pain erupted in my spine. My knees going weak but I force Them to stay strong.

"Lexy, what's happening?!" I asked slightly panicking.

"It's time. Go! Run outside," she yells.

I run out of my room, In a blink of an eye, I'm already outside of the mansion. Just as I'm about to take a step to the Forrest my ankles twisted and the bone-cracking start.

I gritted my teeth in pain but I refused to scream.

I fall on my knee with a grunt. And I curl my body on a ball.

I can feel sharp stinging on my lips and the metallic taste of blood. I licked my lips and my eyes widen at my long and sharp canines.

What the hell!

I close my eyes, grunt, and groaned in pain. I can feel my eyes change in color.

After what feels like forever Its all suddenly stopped. Breathing heavily I try to stand up but fail. I looked down and they are no longer two legs but four paws.

I try to stand up again and this time I succeeded. I looked around and my breath hitched. My vision is so clear I can even see the smallest dust on a leaf even in the dark and I can hear the very small drops of water at the lake. Woah.

"A lake! let's go on the lake," Lexy said excitedly

I can feel myself growing excited by the minute. I start heading for the lake but I stopped remembering something.

"No we can't leave the border, That is grandma's order," I say sadly.

Lexy shook her head and said

"No-"

"You know we can't leave and it's too dangerous outside of the border. Grandma says we need to wait for the right time." I said cutting her off.

"It's the right time. When you shift your whole power will reach its highest point. So you are a lot stronger now that you completely shifted." she said frustratedly.

I remember grandma always would tell me "You cannot go out the mansion's borderline until your strong enough."

"Are you sure?" I asked Lexy hesitantly.

"Yes," she nodded frantically.

I laughed at her eagerness

I sigh and said

"Okay"

She squeals and I cringe

"Oops, sorry," she said smiling sheepishly.

I started to walk but stopped yet again. And Lexy sigh in annoyance.

"What!"

I roll my eyes and said

"Um, as you can see I never once left the border so I don't know how to go into this lake and outside the Forrest."

She sigh

"Okay I will take control"

I close my eyes and give her control. And she starts to run into the forest and away from the mansion.

Wow we're so fast

"I know, right," Lexy said with a voice full of pride.

I close my eyes enjoying the feeling of the cold wind against my soft fur.

Lexy stopped and give me back the control. I take control and look around, we are already at the lake.

I stepped closer to the water and bend my head a little to see my reflection.

My fur is a glowing white with spark like glitters and my eyes are glowing dark blue eyes -completely different from my human form blue-green eyes-. My Lycan height is 5,8 tall. Woah, I'm big

I looked at my Lycan form in awe.

I stand straight and feel my very powerful aura releasing from my body. I immediately hide It so no one will feel it.

"Always remember, don't tell anyone about your power, always hide your aura so people won't be suspicious, do you understand Tory?" grandma said kissing my cheeks.

"Yes grandma" I nod my head smiling a little at her.

"But why?"

She sigh

"People these days are always hungry for power. If they know of you, they will hurt you and take your power" she said

I gasped in horror

She saw my expression and chuckle lightly.

"Don't worry, my dear, I know you can protect yourself. I will make sure of it. But you need to keep it a secret from everyone for your safety, okay?"

I nod again

"Now sleep my little flower," she said kissing my forehead and leaving the room.

Before I fell asleep the last thought that was running on my mind is

"There is no one to tell anyway."

I sigh at the memory that's why I hide my aura so no one will know about me.

I shake my head at the thought and started running.

"Are you ready?" I asked Lexy excitedly.

She squeals and I laughed and run out of the forest and Into the village.
