Chapter 8
Kellan didn’t know if he should be relieved or disappointed because he was now strolling along a dark corridor on the first floor of a dilapidated office building at seven o’clock in the evening instead of having a nice dinner with Endymion and Darwin. He had been dreading how awkward their first official date would be. Not only would he be dating Darwin, who was both his business partner and best friend, but the two of them would also be enjoying their romantic dinner together with Endymion. Going out on a first date with one person was nerve-wrecking enough. He had to worry about two men, and that felt so much better. Or worse. He still couldn’t make up his mind. The only silver lining of this unexpected assignment was having Darwin and Endymion walking on either side of him.
