Chapter 13“I’m not leaving,” Alex said with a sigh, stretching his legs out again after a moment. “I’m not leaving because they wanted someone straight away and I can’t start a new job that needs someone to rig in the next fortnight, because I’m going to have a cast on.”
Luke tucked the blanket around his feet again, but didn’t put his hands underneath it this time. He was very conscious he was on the edge of making things complicated.
