My goodness. I couldn't even bring myself to utter any words. I wasn't the only one stunned to the bones about the King's action. This was the diviner that had served him all these years.
Why then would he allow himself to be controlled by anger to the extent of unsheathing his swords and beheading him.
"Father—" I didn't know if it was me or someone else speaking. My eyes were fixed on the lifeless lump of the old man.
"Nobody questions my authority in this pack!" He thundered before he faced Kane.
"Summon all the Gamma warriors," he said, Kane bowed and remained in position when he said, "Now!"
That alone peeled him off his seat and he went ahead to do what the King ordered. He looked around the room.
"All of you leave this instant! I want to be alone," he said.
