I needed to make it clear to Kane. He had Jessica because he was a damn sly and nothing more. I'd checked out of Jessica…I mean, love was a strange word to me. I didn't even want to indulge in it.
Heck! As much as my brothers would want to deny the fact that they—especially Emrys, feel so attracted to Jessica, I knew they harbored some strange, weird feelings towards Jessica.
They can have her for all I care. I would make do with the beautiful ladies around the pack that cluster around me..
