I'd wanted to tell Emrys about the incident that happened at the pack borders. I didn't want him to be caught unawares if they were ever going to bring it up.
Jeez! Too many things were happening at the same time. And to think that Emrys mentioned Kane hiding her from the both of us was the weirdest thing I've had to hear all of my life.
Emrys had his eyes on Jessice since the moment she stepped into this pack. Father on the other hand was hell bent on imposing Isabella on one or all of us.
I was jolted out of my reverie by a knock on the door and I all but growled under my breath.
